Our Spring Play

Hooray, hooray! It's Spring! Everyone in Room 5 were stars today as we performed our spring play in the junior assembly. Each child made their own costume and learnt the lines for their parts. The audience really enjoyed watching Mother Nature (Claire) as she transformed the environment with her magical wand. See Point View School's Facebook page for more photos -

Celebrating Maths Week

It has been a varied week of mathematics - our Y2 classes rotated so that the children could work on various maths skills. They started off by working on co-ordinates in Room 5. This was followed by a session in Room 6 using iPads and the Osmo Genius kits. Room 3 saw the children making clocks and playing games with time. Finally they thoroughly enjoyed having a variety of maths games which they played in pairs. What an inspiring, novel and challenging week of problem solving in maths!
