Monarch Caterpillars have Arrived

Thanks to Kayla in Room 6, we acquired a monarch caterpillar which turned into a chrysalis in the past few days. Then we discovered three more tiny caterpillars that appeared on the leaves and were munching away and growing fast.

The caterpillars have been taken to Mrs Shewring's house and we will continue to watch them when we get back after the holidays.

Patterns and Number Relationships

As part of our mathematics study we enjoyed looking around our classroom and all round the junior playground to find patterns that are repettative. We took our own photos and here they are -

Coding with Awby

We enjoyed a great coding session today and worked on the first few coding levels with our classmates. Together we worked out which blocks to use and by trial and error we discovered what to do.
