Our Cultural Celebration Day

It is the last day of term and what better way to celebrate than to dress up in our cultural clothes? After a fortnight of sharing and discovering interesting aspects of our various cultures and also choosing various cultural lunchtime activities, it has been a special time of learning. Then today everyone looked totally amazing in their various outfits and enjoyed showing them off in our first Junior assembly of the year! Maddy and Angelo were wonderful at introducing the various items!

Superb STEM Day!

Once again, Mr Rankin has provided us with many opportunities to use our hands and to be creative thinkers. We had a wonderful day discovering how to make various items out of wooden sticks, Lego, building blocks, vehicle parts, construction kits and so on. Not only did we follow the instructions carefully and make these wonderful pieces, we used our imagination and tried new things. 

We managed to get to nearly all the different activities that Mr Rankin had provided for us and wish we had more time to have completed them all. Thank you, Mr Rankin, for another exciting day of discovery and learning. Many, many thanks, too, to the many parents who so kindly came in to support us. We can't wait for the next STEM day!
