All Packed Up - Our Last Day

It is our final day in Room 5. Where did the time go?? What a memorable, marvellous and very special time we have had!! Our hearts and minds are full of joy for each and every wonderful person in our class, for the great learning we did and the great activities and experiences we enjoyed! Thank you so very much to all our parents and for the help and support they have given us.

Mrs Naicker and Mrs Cole, our fantastic Learning Assistants, came in to give us yummy surprises. We presented Mrs Kneale and Harvey's mum with the cards we had written. We thanked them for their huge commitment to our class and for all the hours of work that they gave to helping us with our learning.

Saying "Goodbye" to our Buddy Class

We are sorry to come to the last of our meetings with our wonderful buddies from Room 25. We made them a Christmas Card and gave them a chocolate treat as well. Our buddies also spoilt us with special cards and then we played a game of tic-tac-toe. Thank you, Buddies, for making us feel really special whenever we got together and when we saw you around the school.

An Evening of Christmas Magic

Both Room 6 and Room 5 convened at 9 Sayes Close on Friday night, awaiting the promise of a magical evening of lights, Christmas decorations, fake snow, Santa, lollies and ice blocks. We were all so impressed with the amount of effort Jake's parents had put into decorating their house and garden! The weather was perfect and we were even given an extra treat - a long line-up of festive Mini cars came to do a drive through! In addition, we enjoyed a walk around this short road to view many of the other houses that had also been beautifully decorated. What a lovely way to meet and greet our friends!!

"Santa" Fishy and Red Crayon come to visit

Dear Mrs Fishy become Santa's helper for the day and she treated us to a wonderful story under the trees. As she was doing that, we got such a surprise - along came Red Crayon from the book called "The Day the Crayons Quit"!! She looked ever so much like our own dear Miss Lee!! Red Crayon had a great Christmas story to read to us and it featured those crayons once again! Once the stories had been heard, Santa's helper gave us a wonderful surprise! She hand delivered the letters that Santa had sent to us. Yay! What a happy day!
