Welcome, to our new Boys and Girls to Room 5
School was almost over and it was time for us to meet the new teacher and children who will be in Year 2 in 2021. We were excited to see who would be with us - some of the children were from the same class and others were from three other classes! Our teacher is called Mrs Shewring. She is really excited and happy to be our teacher next year.
Here are some photos of us in our new classroom - it looks really bare! Everything has been packed up for the holidays!

Our Christmas Celebration Assembly
Room 5 and 6 performed the song "Sprinkle a Little Sunshine" together and they were marvellous, magnificent and magical! What a fabulous performance by everyone - you certainly spread a lot of sunshine in that hall today!
We also had lots of fun making decorations today and wearing our bright mufti clothes.

Our Final Junior Assembly
We enjoyed watching Sienna, Oria and Daniel perform in their GATE drama play today. It was the story of Little Red and they each played their parts superbly. Congratulations on a stellar performance to each of them!!

Paper Aeroplanes
Yay!! Buddy Class time! We really enjoy spending time with our Buddy Class and today they had another surprise in store of us! Each of our buddies had prepared a few different paper aeroplane instructions on YouTube for us. We had a great time folding the pages step-by-step until we had at least one paper aeroplane ready to try out. Some of the children spent time decorating their planes while others had a lovely time outside getting their planes to fly or glide or do loops. Many thanks to Mrs Beukens and our wonderful buddies!
