Tree Huggers in the Hive

Today we visited the Hive especially to meet some very special trees! From our classroom window we have four trees that produce fabulous fruits at different times of the year! Firstly, there are our two nectarine trees called Neccy and Terrine. Next is the mandarine tree, aptly named Mandy! Then there is Olive ... yes, the olive tree! Olive has a harvest of olives drooping down at present.

So it was quite appropriate that we decided to hug a tree to say 'Thank you' for the beauty, shade, air and fruit they provide!

Our Happy Classroom

Here are some photos of our classroom showing a snapshot of our learning. We are working hard at presenting our work accurately and carefully.

Our First Inquiry Learning Time!

In Room 6 there are a pair of gorgeous budgies! They are called Sunshine and Ocean and they live in a very large cage! We are starting our inquiry journey with them and hope to discover many interesting and exciting things about them. We will be 'looking through the looking glass' just as Snoops, the PVS Infotective does! We delved into the steps we'll be taking to find out all about budgies.

Week 3 Paper Bag Sharing

It was a pleasure watching the children sharing their paper bags and doing so with such confidence! They certainly got the attention of their audience and we all really got to know a little bit more about them. Thank you, Isabella, Dia, Lily, Echeng, Marcus, Enyu, Alyssa and Edison. Ka Pai, budding speakers - you are stars!
