Daffodil Day
Our class dressed all in yellow to celebrate Daffodil Day. We went down to spend time with our Buddy class and on the way back we saw the beautiful cherry tree in bloom and some pretty daffodils too. It felt like a taste of Spring. Only six more days before Spring arrives!

Te Reo Māori
This was Whae Pen's last lesson with us and we have continued to enjoy all the wonderful games, songs and group activities she organised for us. We have learned to introduce ourselves, to explain how we are feeling and can name the colours, numbers, weather, positions, body parts and items around our classroom. Kia ora to Whae Pen.

Drama Day - Hooray!
We really love having Mrs Oldham teaching us. She always gets us to use our imagination and creativity. We were so excited to be using puppets that we had made and then performing the story of "The Three Billy Goats Gruff" in front of our buddies. There were other opportunities for role play and creating various props. It was a wonderful, theatrical, magical day.

Welcome, Mr Kirkham
Mr Kirkham visited us today and read us a story written by David Williams. David Williams write books that start with the title "The World's Worst...". The story we chose was from the book called "The World's Worst Pets" and was called "Bad Bunny"! We thoroughly enjoyed hearing about nasty Fiasco, the magician, and his bunny called Houdini. Midway through the story, Mr Kirkham suggested we had a break so he taught us a mindfulness activity called "The Digger". Thank you for a lovely afternoon, Mr Kirkham.
