Bruce Potter came all the way from Invercargill to spend time with us! He enthralled us with his incredible talent at drawing and while we watched he created an imaginary creature that looked so real! He also read us some of his funny, intriguing books.
   

Erin Devlin, Amazing, Amusing Author

We so enjoyed meeting Erin Devlin after reading her books. She mainly writes in rhyme and her favourite topic are possums! She makes all kinds of fluffy puppets which she uses in her presentation and some of the children joined her in enacting a few of the stories she has written.

Ayla, Author of the Week

Ayla's letter to the Three Bears was very sweet. We're sure those bears are going to forgive her for creating all those problems at their house.

Our First Week Back

Our first week back has been so exciting with Book Week being the focus. The many activities that went with it have been marvellous including having to guess the teacher's favourite book.


We also enjoyed learning to play a variety of card games in maths.
