Our 100 Day Celebration

How astounding that we have already been at school for one hundred days!! That means that we are more than half way through the year and reaching three figures is a good cause for celebration. We enjoyed an afternoon of tasty treats and in pairs we used one hundred objects to construct, collect or make things.

Freddy comes to visit us

We eagerly anticipated the arrival of Freddy, the little lamb. He belongs to Miss Brasell and her family and he is special because he doesn't have a mummy. Instead he believes that Miss Brassel is his mum because she looks after him and feeds him.

Miss Brassel's mum brought him to visit us but he has never been in a car before and he was very scared. He wasn't too keen on drinking his milk but he didn't mind us all petting him. Mr Kirkham saw Freddy and came to meet him as well!! The video Mrs Brassel took when they got home shows how frisky and happy Freddy usually is!

Welcome to Caleb

The third term started today and it was wonderful having everyone back! We have a new addition to our Room 5 family and his name is Caleb! Its good to have you in our class, Caleb!

BEES - High Tide

We made these bees for the shop called High Tide in Howick. They have put our bees up in their window to make everyone aware of how important bees are in our environment.

jump Jam Assembly

We enjoyed showing our parents how well we have learned to do the actions in the various dances we do at our Jump Jam sessions. After we had done our dances, our parents joined us for a final dance. It was so much fun!

Wacky Hair and Hat Day

There were lots of amazing, different, creative, colourful, eye-catching, funny and crazy hairstyles in our classroom today!! Our wonderful parents spent lots of time getting their children ready for school and it was wonderful seeing the transformations in each child!
