Our Calendar Art

We so enjoyed creating our spring artwork which was inspired by Eric Carle. Our flowers were made from painted paper which we made ourselves using a variety of textures. They certainly look lovely!

Maths Fun

We enjoyed working together with a friend on a maths game today. It is fun to practise our number knowledge while playing games.

The Poetry Recital

Well done to everyone in our class for not only choosing delightful poems but also for learning them off by heart. Then they all took turns to recite their poems to the class. Six children were chosen as semi finalists - Yuvraj, Iven, Constance, Rebecca, Anna and Jake. Congratulations to Iven and Rebecca for being chosen by our buddy class to represent our class at the finals. We are proud of them!

Our House and Buddy Class Fun Day

It was a House Team fun day today especially planned for us to share with our Room 22 buddies and aimed at gaining additional House points. After morning tea we joined our Buddy Class in the PMP room and we enjoyed a happy music lesson with Mrs Clark.

The fun continued as we assembled in Room 22 and worked on the first of our challenges - making words by using the letters from the word "pirates". A treasure hunt was next and we needed to visit fifteen places to find the necessary information. Unfortunately time was limited so we weren't able to draw a portrait of our teachers.

We had our lunch in the areas allocated to each House - Rangitoto, Motuihe, Motutapu and Waiheke.
