Superb STEM Day!

Once again, Mr Rankin has provided us with many opportunities to use our hands and to be creative thinkers. We had a wonderful day discovering how to make various items out of wooden sticks, Lego, building blocks, vehicle parts, construction kits and so on. Not only did we follow the instructions carefully and make these wonderful pieces, we used our imagination and tried new things. 

We managed to get to nearly all the different activities that Mr Rankin had provided for us and wish we had more time to have completed them all. Thank you, Mr Rankin, for another exciting day of discovery and learning. Many, many thanks, too, to the many parents who so kindly came in to support us. We can't wait for the next STEM day!

Our Spring Play

We put on a Spring Play today and were all shining stars! Each of us knew exactly what to say and did all the actions perfectly too. Kenji was an excellent Father Nature who declared that Spring had arrived and he used his magical wand to get the animals and nature to perform. We all made our own crown using our imagination and creativity. Miss Kassan and Room 6 came to watch our play and they really enjoyed it. Happy Springtime, everyone!

We really flourished under Miss Kassen's tutelage. She was our teacher for two weeks and has been very kind, enthusiastic and helpful. We enjoyed learning about giraffes with her and are so pleased she was able to join us at our swimming lessons.
