Snowflakes

We were enthralled to hear the story of Snowflake Bentley, a man who was the first to photograph snowflakes and publish his images for all to see and enjoy. It is unbelievable that each minute snowflake is totally unique! Our buddy class helped us create snowflake shapes by folding and cutting some paper.

Our Wonderful Te Tuhi Trip

The weather may have made the morning quite damp and grey but we certainly didn't even notice. We were very enthusiastic and energised by the prospect of embarking on another great trip. Sure enough, it was bright, beautiful and brilliant at the art gallery! We were surrounded in colourful art exhibits and so enjoyed dabbling in colour mixing. Using the three primary colours, we completed the whole colour wheel - astounding!

The Middle School Production

We were treated to a wonderful matinee performance of the Pirates versus Mermaids show!! It was amazing and we were spellbound as soon as we walked through the decorated entrance way.
