Our Special Trees
Room 5 looks down on the Hive and we can see five extra-special trees. Three are three fruit trees - Neccie and Terrine, the nectarine treesand Mandy, the mandarin tree. Next, two olive trees, that have been named Olive 1 and Olive 2. See if you can see which is which.
Second Week of the Year
This week we have been learning the names of all our class family. We have enjoyed listening to the children who have shared the items in their paper bags too. So far Ethan, Amelia, Amani, Zeta, Zena and Venus have talked to us. Kia Kaha to Harper for being the first one to receive our class certificate. Enjoy looking at Ethan's illustration of his poem.

Welcome Back!
Last year our amazing new students came for a visit to Room 5 for just a little while before school closed. Now they are back and we are enjoying getting to know each other. On our first day we made this 'heart string' web to show that everyone in our class is important. We all help to make our classroom a special place to be.

Funtime Lunctime
It is always such a special time of year when Funtime Lunchtime comes around! We enjoy all the different activities and the treats we can buy. Many of us had our faces painted and got some tasty treats. Thank you to the Year 6 children who set everything up.
