Autumn Buddy Fun

We joined our buddy class in the hive and had lots of fun collecting up two containers of leaves. Some of the beautiful maple leaves were quite crunchy underfoot already while some were still quite fresh and soft. Room 5 and 25 have enough leaves to fill a large black rubbish bag each. We are going to place the leaves into the bag and wet them thoroughly. Then we'll tie up the bags, puncture them with holes and place them in the Hive. The leaves will gradually start to decompose and over the next few months they will turn into compost which we'll put back into our gardens.
