Science in a Van

Blowing Bubbles within Bubbles

We watched a science experiment showing us how to blow bubbles within bubbles and followed the instructions on how to make the correct mixture. Then we got to giving it a try. What fun giving it a go!

Drama Day - Taniwha Treasures

Mrs Oldham treated us to another wonderful day of stories, art, imaginative play, discovery and lots of drama. The children entered in to the legendary world of the Taniwha and learned some new Maori vocabulary as well. They went looking for treasures from the land, the sky, the sea. They also created the most beautiful Taniwha using many traditional Maori patterns.

Matariki Biscuits

Our buddies enjoyed watching some videos about Matariki and together we iced and decorated some biscuits to symbolise Matariki. We iced a biscuit with blue water icing and then placed seven sugar stars on them - yummy!

Assembly and GATE Music Group

Well done to Kayla and Agam for presenting our Junior school assembly. They were very confident and read their pieces very well. Tino Pai to both of them!

We are also very proud of Victoria and Eugene for their amazing work in learning to play three wonderful musical pieces as part of the instrumental group they are part of. They were so dedicated and happily practised during lunch times with Mis Lee. Congratulations and bravo on your excellent playing, Victoria and Eugene!
