Our Bean Plants

Our bean plants have grown so much - in just two weeks this is how tall they are already! We will be taking them home and possibly planting them in the garden with a stake to help them grow taller.

Here is a story written by Zoe explaining the life cycle of a bean.

The Life Cycle of a Bean by Zoe

First, we plant a bean seed in the soil. The seed needs water and sunlight to grow.

Then the seed starts to germinate. Then it grows a shoot that comes out of the ground and it also get roots. The leaves start to grow out of  the shoot. Then the flower starts to grow. When the flower dies, the bean falls on the ground and the life cycle begins again.
