Our Spring Walk
It was a beautiful September morning today so we decided to take a 'Spring Walk' to observe some exciting changes taking place in our school gardens. Some birds were singing to us as we got ready to go. Our first stop was the Hive where we checked on 'Necki' and 'Terrine', the nectarine trees. They have big buds on them, ready to bloom soon. As we were there we spotted a roly poly (pillbug) and a worm. There were two trees showing off their pretty white blossoms as we made our way to the oak tree near the Performing Arts centre and close by we were able to view the beehive and we noticed how active the bees were. Already there are flowers all around and fresh leaves on some trees. The lovely sunshine also reminded us that the days are getting longer and warmer. How wonderful Springtime is! Thank you to Synova for taking all these photos!
