The Power of Thinking - MOTAT Challenge

The children met Teresa from MOTAT came to work with us and showed us some simple machines that had screws, pulleys, wheels and axles, levers, inclined planes, screw and wedges. She then put us into small groups and challenged us to work together as a team to create our own marble alleys. The children needed to work together to solve any problems in their design. The photos show the special marble alleys they made and how well they worked.
