Yummy Food from around the World

Some children brought along samples of their traditional food that they enjoy at home. We all were treated to a sampling of these and they were all very tasty - our tastebuds were having a real party! Thanks very much to all the families who spoilt us with these delicious tastings.

Lachlan brought some biscuits from Holland called Speculaas. They were sweet and spicy.

Kayla brought along some tasty roti and we all agreed that we love having Indian food with this special flat bread.

Ayala brought crispy rice and coconut milk wheels called Kokis that come from Sri Lanka. Her wonderful grandma had made them.

Benjamin brought delicious Chinese seafood and vegetable dumplings that melted in our mouths.

Chloe brought two amazing dishes - noodles and sush as well as small rice cakes. They were all so good to eat!

Michael and Christopher shared the most delicious crispy flat cakes that had been folded up into quarters. Christopher's mum had made them and she shared the ingredients with us, as well as how they had been made. They were scrumptious!

Cherie's very generous parents provided each child with a special Chinese snack - totally delicious.
