We have had another two caterpillars turn into chrysalis' this week. The first one disappeared from its swan plant and we searched all around but to no avail. It was missing! A few days later, Miss Jackson in Room 10 below called us to show us a chrysalis some of the children in her class had discovered! Sure enough, there it was, safely hidden in the leaves of a spiky plant!

When our other fat caterpillar looked as though he was ready to transform into a chrysalis, we decided to place him in a container where we hope he will soon emerge and go free.

We have one more caterpillar and have been gifted a lovely butterfly container which is perfect for keeping the monarchs safe and for viewing them.
